The outside terrace is spacious and offers seating around the swimming pool where your family or your friends can take in the amazing views which are visible from almost every aspect. There is plenty to do should you wish to leave the villa and explore the local area with the pretty beach of Çinar and the attractions of Akyaka, a traditional Turkish town with unique Ula-Muğla architecture just a short drive away. You will notice the large aeroplane; the restaurant is located here. DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO YOUR ACCOMMODATION - approximately 1hr 15m Your hire car will have a full tank of petrol when you collect it. In most cases your paperwork will be prefilled with passport and driving licence details to speed the process of car collection. We suggest that before you set off, you acquaint yourselves with the way your odometer works. In most cars to reset you need to press the button on the end of the indicator and hold until the reading flashes for some time and then becomes zero. If you have requested any booster or child seats, please ensure you check the fittings before you set off. Please take care driving along these roads and remember to drive on the right! The speed limits are signposted along the way. The distances are measured from the car park exit barrier. Leave the car park bearing right and follow the road round to the security manned exit. 1. At 5km take the 2nd exit at the roundabout. The first exit will take you to Dalaman town. If you wish to visit the supermarket, turn here and at the first mini roundabout turn left (3rd exit). Migros will be on your right after 150m. 2. At 10km take the 3rd exit and follow signs for Ortaca/Mugla/Izmir. You will now follow the D400 straight for 55.9km. 3. At 65.9km continue straight at the roundabout (2nd exit) following signs for Ula/Mugla/Izmir. Keep in the right-hand lane. 4. At 67.6km turn right following signs for Akyaka and follow the road round under the underpass. This will take you through the upper village of Akyaka. 5. At 69.4km you will see the local supermarket “Migros” on your left. Migros has a bakery, a small meat/cheese counter and although small offers a reasonable range of different items. 6. At 69.5km you will approach a small junction, continue straight and DO NOT turn left at this point. This will take you down to the beach and lower town of Akyaka. 7. At 70.9km Turn right following signs for Akbuk/Oren. 8. At 71.6km Turn right following signs for Kuyucak/Derinkuyu/Yerkesik. 9. At 73.7km Bear right for Kuyucak. 10. At 74km you will approach a bend, turn left here and then sharp right into the driveway of The Shepherd’s House. Welcome to The Shepherd’s House!
