Introducing Kokkinochoma Slow Living Retreat
Born from red earth Once upon a time in the heart of Zakynthos, a handful of seeds were planted in the red soil of our family land, Kokkinóchoma. Slowly, the seeds grew into trees until they all blossomed into a plentiful orchard. Season after season, the reddish land blessed us with precious gifts—juicy fruits, fragrant herbs, colorful flowers, and the invaluable wisdom that life takes time. As we grew, that wisdom became our guiding light until the moment was ripe to pass it on.
Drenched in earthy glamour and sublime elegance, just 20’ minutes drive to Zakynthos Town, offering exquisite architecture, design, and privacy, where indulgent home comforts meet spaciousness and thriving wilderness. Perched in Lagopodo and just a 15 minutes drive from a sandy beach, a fusion of designer-led exteriors and authentic escapes combine at Kokkinochoma Slow Living Retreat. Moulded from earthen materials, this bespoke home features privacy among all. With a captivating pool, bespoke sun beds, iconic outdoor settings, fire pit & an outdoor signature kitchen with BBQ (Charcoal), this home has all the hallmarks of a unique hideout, but with a regional twist. More than a villa Inspired by our story and philosophy, we created Villa Kokkinóchoma to co-exist in harmony with its natural surroundings—the red-soiled land, the verdant gardens, the warm sunlight, and the azure Ionian sky. Natural and green materials, like eco-friendly cement and lime mortars, exquisite Greek marble, genuine wood, metal, and clay, have been used on surfaces, furnishings, fabrics, and decorations. Almost everything is colored in warm, earthy tones, evoking our familial land's calming, unobtrusive aura. The artfully designed accommodations are spread across 2 independent levels. Outside, the beautifully landscaped oasis features a shaded BBQ area, an outdoor lounge with a cozy fireplace, and an inviting saltwater pool for taking refreshing dips and basking under the Mediterranean sun. Villa Kokkinóchoma is more than a modern, high-end holiday residence. It is an ode to slow living, refined simplicity, and unassuming luxury where life flows naturally between seamless spaces, unique moments, and shared experiences.
External Living | Private Pool & Lounges This captivating sea-view residence lays in 1.200m2 private land and is embellished with a 50m² private swimming pool (1,10-1,60 meters deep, non-heated), and also boasting premium sun-beds. Grown-ups can lounge to their sun loungers before idling back for al fresco dining under sunset skies, on the shaded outdoor dining area featuring a kitchen and BBQ (Charcoal). A bespoke outdoor lounge are with a fire pit is also featured, ideal for pre dinner drinks gatherings. There is sufficient parking space for up to 4 cars inside of the residence premises. An outdoor shower is also featured for ultimate comfort.

With enviable views, the quintessential living experience radiates a chic elegance and a wonderfully laidback ambiance that enhances the comfort level of guests. Minimalistic design marks all the 6 bedrooms, gifting them with their unique identity, spoiling guests with premium bed comfort, design and amenities. This captivating Residence boasts exquisite interiors that exude a certain ethereal elegance, in its 400m² indoor space. For those who wish to travel together with loved ones, but also have moments of privacy & seclusion, this home is the perfect choice. Offering a bespoke design, the exclusive Residence boasts six bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in real beds. The retreat features two separate residences that have separated entrances, however all connected and for your exclusive use.
