This is truly a pearl among our holiday homes!
Villa Hemel en Duin is a unique holiday home for a family holiday by the sea. Uniquely located high on the dune, overlooking the dune reserve where Scottish Highlanders and wild horses almost graze in your garden.
Lots of privacy in and around the house with surrounding dune garden on 677m2. An ideal holiday home! The smell of rose hip, the view of the dune landscape and the village make the holiday perfect.
This oasis of relaxation is 150 metres from the beach and next to the entrance to the North Holland Dune Reserve, where you can take endless walks and cycle tours.
Directly opposite the house is the entrance to Parnassia Park, where your children can feed the goats and sheep and play in the sheltered playgrounds. There is a small grocery shop within walking distance (about 5 minutes) where you can buy fresh rolls and many other groceries every day.Having been used exclusively by one family since 1985, the house is perfectly equipped for a family holiday with (or without) children. There are well-maintained carpets throughout the house, creating a particularly cosy atmosphere.
On the ground floor there is a well-equipped kitchen with Thermomix, Nepresso machine and induction hob, and with a practical pass-through to the cosy dining area with extendable table for the whole family.
In the living room, you will find plenty of cosy armchairs and sofas to put your feet up on after a busy day at the seaside. There is also another room on the ground floor, directly connected to the living room, where the children can play or where you can retreat for a while. There is also a second table here, which is especially illuminated by the sun in the morning.
The house has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. On the first floor there is a room with a double bed and a balcony overlooking the dunes, as well as a children's room with 3 beds (including one cot!!! - this is the 7th person in the description). The tasteful bathroom on this floor has a spacious shower, a toilet and bidet and a washing machine.
Upstairs is the master bedroom with breathtaking views over the dunes to Egmond. The bathroom on this floor has a WC and bidet, a shower and a bathtub.
An extra baby cot and changing mat are available on request.
The house has its own toys and children's books in German, so there is no need to pack much for your family holiday. Sand toys are also part of the inventory, as well as a swing in the ground-floor playroom.
The car can be parked in the private lot, from where a staircase leads to the house. There is no driveway, but the stairs are wide and not very steep.
We can't wait to welcome you and your family. Take off your shoes and walk to the beach, equipped with a wagon and a landing net. A newspaper, coffee and fresh sandwiches are available on the way. But the beach pavilions are also a great place to relax.
