Thumb Butte Retreat is a cozy two bedroom, two bathroom pet-friendly home. It is perfectly located at the base of Thumb Butte for you and your four-legged friends to hike and bike in Prescott National Forest. This home is the perfect escape for outdoor enthusiasts with a rock fireplace, landscape photographs, outdoor fire pit and serene walking path, Thumb Butte Retreat will allow you to reset from everyday stressors and leave you wanting to explore the great outdoors. The home is five minutes from Thumb Butte hiking trail and Prescott National Forest and ten minutes to Historic Downtown Prescott.
Breathe in that delicious mountain air as you find solace in the winter snow or cool summer weather. Prescott offers year round activities including Prescott Frontier Days Rodeo in July, special events at Halloween, Veterans Day parade, Thanksgiving, Lighting of the Courthouse in early December, Christmas festivities, and The Whiskey Row Boot Drop for the New Years Eve Event. The summer Concert Series brings free events to the Courthouse Square, bring your chairs, picnic basket and enjoy the music on the Courthouse Square.
Prescott offers many hiking trails from light and easy to those for the more adventurous seeking a more rugged terrain. You may want to go see the Grand Canyon which is 1-1/2 hours away. Beautiful Sedona is an hour away, Jerome is 40 minutes and Flagstaff 1-1/2 hours away. If you want to see some local animals then our very own Heritage Park Zoo is a short 20 minute drive. The Granite Dells park is a gorgeous picturesque adventure and to name a few others we have Goldwater lake, Willow Creek and Lynx Lake. So many wonderful places to experience and enjoy!
INSIDE THE HOME
Living room: A perfect gathering place to read or cozy up after a long day of sightseeing and exploring. This space offers a large sectional and Smart Tv for streaming access. There is a wood burning fireplace available for guest use.
Dining Room: The open concept dining area provides seating for a large party. It features floor to ceiling windows and access to the backyard deck.
Kitchen: The kitchen has everything you need to prepare your favorite meals, except the ingredients. Appliances include a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, oven/stove and toaster.
Bathroom 1 : This bathroom includes a full size shower with a single sink vanity. The bathroom is stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
Bathroom 2: This bathroom is located in the master bedroom. It features a full-size shower and vanity. The bathroom is stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
Bedroom 1: This bedroom features a Cal King sized bed, bedside tables, closet space and an Arizona Room. The Arizona Room provides a reading nook complete with books and access to the deck area.
Bedroom 2: This bedroom features a queen sized bed which overlooks the beautiful landscaped yard and walking path.
Laundry room: The laundry room is accessible off the main hallway for your convenience. Amenities are available for guest use.
OUTSIDE
Thumb Butte Retreat is a nature lover's paradise. There is a deck for soaking in the Arizona sun, a walking path, a fenced yard for our four-legged friends and a propane fire-pit for those chilly evenings. The property is minutes from Prescott National Forest so visitors may explore on their own or take one of the many hiking trails nearby.

BEFORE BOOKING please note that if your reservation requires additional guest fees and/or pet fees of $115, these fees will NOT be shown at time of booking. These fees will be added AFTER you have booked and you have paid the amount due at that time. It's the guest's responsibility to let us know within 48 hours of booking if there are any pets, service animals or additional guests that weren't originally listed at the time of booking. Changes made to the reservation after 48 hours of time of booking are subject to a $35 change of reservation fee in addition to the pet fee and/or additional guest fee. Once a property manager has reviewed your reservation, these fees will be manually added. See below for more information on additional guest fees, pet fees and the policies on these matters.
PMI Northern Arizona is a Full Service Property Management company, we do have and require a Property/Region Specific Vacation Rental Agreement be signed separate from what is required by VRBO. This contract will be sent after VRBO confirms the booking with our office.
Pets or No Pets; It's the guest's responsibility to make PMI Northern Arizona aware of a service animal or emotional support animal that will be staying at the property before check in. Once made aware, you will be sent an email of our policy on this matter. When we've confirmed your service or emotional support animal, you're required to sign an Animal Addendum in addition to the standard contract.
