The street-front facade of this one-story, 3br/2.5 bath, brick home is modest and unassuming; perched high on a hilltop, tucked below a brilliant bough of bougainvillea.
But pass through the threshold, and you’ll discover that this open concept, 1954 mid-century modern home spills into a grand back patio; an entertainer's paradise that stretches wide to welcome guests, sunshine, fresh air and panoramic views of the famous Bel Air hills.
Indulge in luxury. Relax poolside in teak wood lounge chairs; breathe in the fragrance of cypress pine, citrus, and jasmine. This home is an ethereal place to wake up. Sip your green tea or morning espresso as song birds awake in the gardens. Float through mornings in a turquoise pool, ensconced in azure sky, lush nature and Bel Air breezes.
Spend afternoons on a shady garden bench, amidst magnificent jade bonsais. Gaze westward toward Mandeville Canyon and the vast Pacific Ocean. Savor an unobstructed view of sultry orange and violet sunsets over the Bel Air hills. By night, relax in the heated pool and marvel at city lights twinkling like stars below you.
Hardwood floors, brick columns, exposed beams and abundant windows are a few original architectural features of this iconic post war home. The home is tastefully adorned with modern art and stylish furnishings.
The striking duo-chromatic chef’s kitchen has everything you’ll need. Plenty of cabinet space, plenty of light from shuttered windows. Appliances include a huge French-door fridge, dishwasher, oven with warming drawer, microwave and gas range. The formal dining room has a modern white marble table with seating for eight, below a sputnik-style chandelier. The dining room is bathed in California sunlight and enlarged by a wall of mirrors.
In the living room, a stylish ocean-blue sectional sofa, coffee table and floor lamps are nicely arranged around a stunning white marble fireplace with a bronzed vine-like cover piece and large Smart TV. Stream your favorite movies complimentary on Netflix.
There’s a sitting parlor with another Smart TV, skylights, a sofa and lovely royal blue velvet bucket chairs. A sun room beside the pool has a tile floor, a ping pong table, an assortment of family-friendly board games and sliding glass doors that open up to the patio. The pool, patio and ping pong table and games will bring hours of fun and entertainment; an especially ideal vacation home for families or groups traveling with children.
The three bedrooms are fresh, white, bright and feature hardwood floors, exposed beams, and elegant details such as built-in bookshelves, huge picture windows, French doors with sheer curtains and lovely clerestory windows with white shutters. All of the bedrooms have queen-size beds and crisp, white, sumptuous linens. Extra floor mattresses can be added to the larger bedrooms, upon request.
The master bedroom has an extraordinary, full-wall-size picture window with tranquil views of the lush green gardens, trees, and landscape of the Santa Monica Mountains. The master also boasts a glamorous, custom designed, walk-in California closet artfully concealed behind sliding door mirrors. Even the bathrooms in this Bel Air luxury home are sleek and stylish. The master bedroom has a gorgeous ensuite bath.
The highlight of this home is the marvelous way it opens up to bring the outdoors in. Plentiful windows, glass doors and large mirrors all serve to enhance the airy ambiance of open sky, sunlight, fresh, fragrant breezes and wondrous views of the Bel Air hills.

Pool heating is extra $100/night. If you want the pool heated before your arrival we can send someone on our team to do so in the morning of your arrival for $100. Pool can take anywhere from 5-10 hours to get to desired temperature depending on outside temp. Smaller pool within the pool (not a jacuzzi) can take about 45 mins -2 hrs.
House Rules:
We have done everything possible for all our guests to enjoy the experience our house has to offer. This comes with several restrictions that will allow us to comply with the City Home - Sharing Ordinance as well as to respect our neighbors and continue hosting without getting complaints:
1. Absolutely No smoking anywhere on the premises (a $1,000 fine will apply) and no parties. Any noise complaints will be grounds to cancel the reservation immediately with no refund. We are equipped with NoiseAware and Ring Video Doorbell. L.A is very strict and we want to make sure we can keep hosting our guests.
2. No amplified music as well as outdoor gatherings after 10pm in order to respect the peacefulness of the area and to show consideration for our neighbors. Swimming pool is off limits after 10:00PM for groups as well as kids.
3. Exact number of people in the house needs to be communicated to host.
4. Fire place is decorative only. Please do not put any type of fire on outside or inside, this includes any smoking. We live in a very high fire hazard severity zone.
5. PARTIES AND EVENTS ABSOLUTELY NOT ALLOWED .
Please note: A guest that will violate this strict rule, will lose his security deposit and will be evicted from the house on the same night.
6. CLEANLINESS is a high priority for our listings, please respect the house and clean up after your self.
7. Our gardener comes on Mondays and pool service is on Tuesdays.
8. Lost garage clicker will result in a $500 replacement fee. Please do not remove from location on the wall.
- By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of our property and entire resort home premises.
- The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, illness that occurs while guests are on the premises or for the loss of their belongings.

- Why does the price change? We use a dynamic pricing software that changes the rates from time to time
- Can you tell me more about this Noiseaware system? Noiseaware is a gadget that alerts us when the noise level has reached it's threshhold. This device doesn't record video nor audio, it only
notifies of the noise level inside and outside the property.
- Do you have serving dishes and utensils for large groups of people? We do have enough utensils that can serve the 10 guests max.
- Do you offer 1-night stays? No, our minimum is 2 nights during weekdays and 3 during the weekends.
- What does the extra mattresses looks like? We have floorbeds, you can search an image and pretty easily find them.
- Can we request for a towel change? We do not provide hotel amenities. We do supply one regular towel and one beach towel for each guest during the entire stay, we also have washing and drying machines that you're welcome to use.
- Do you offer early check-in? Yes depends if we don't have guests checking out on the day of your arrival.
- Do you offer late checkout? Yes depends if we don't have guests checking in on the day of your departure.
- Can you explain the heating of the pool rates? The price is $100 per day, so you just need to multiply the number of nights you're staying for this rate to get a price. If you would like us to heat the pool in advance of your arrival, just add $100 to this rate.
- Do you offer discounts on the heating pool rates? Unfortunately, we're not able to. Our rates are lower than the ones charged by most pool houses of the same size, many charges between $100-125/day so this is the best price we can offer.
- How do I operate the pool / Jacuzzi? Pool video instructions will be sent right after payment for the heating. It’s very easy, just follow the video instructions exactly.
- Is there a smoking room? / Is smoking allowed on the property? No smoking is allowed anywhere inside and outside the house, please don't smoke in the backyard/pool area, it's not allowed there either.
- How many cars can we park in the garage or parking area? about 4 cars can park in the driveway and garage. And easy free street parking.
- Is there a fee associated with early check-in/late check-out?
>Yes, for early check-in, it’s $25 per additional hour. If the house is ready, a 3 pm check-in with host approval is possible for free.
