Summary:
The 32' Platform has plenty of room for the tent, comfortable outdoor seating and a picnic table! The platform sits on the edge of a bedrock ecosystem with dwarf pine trees - unique to The Hudson Valley. The property has blazed trails to the stunning stream with waterfall area offering privacy and convenience. The glamping site can be accessed by car with only a 25' walk in - very close. The site is near a beautiful forest art studio that features a stunning outdoor hang out area, fire pit, benches and covered porches- ideal in the rain. The site has an outdoor shower with hot water (!); The tent features electricity, heater, fan, lights and de-humidifier, a queen bed, linens, and a down blanket. There are additional amenities on site you can purchase like firewood, fire starters, if you need, although the first log bundle and fire starter are included for your convenience. There is plenty of down wood in the forest for the picking. This site is minutes away from the Gunks with rock climbing, hiking, biking, snow shoeing etc. You may have wildlife sightings on the land: owls, pileated woodpecker, deer, fox, turkey, bear (rare but possible) etc.
There are some outdoor cooking options: cooking on the fire pit on a grill, a 2 burner Coleman stove with cooking fuel canisters (see extras).
Also available on site is the opportunity to make art in the beautiful studio that is right near by. I have curated 7 ART KITS - chock full of goodies. You can pre-order a kit from The Art Menu (see Extras) or be spontaneous and choose what you like once you are on site :)

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature!
Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed with a memory foam mattress. The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, and 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs.
Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation.
Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.
Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.
Other Things to Note:
Carry in Carry out. I will take care of recycling. There is a can at the top of the driveway to make it garbage drop off easy. This is a Quiet and meditative space - quiet time begins before 8 am & after 9:30 pm. No loud music please. Well behaved dogs that play well with other dogs can be considered but would be an additional $25 fee (see extras). I have linens and warm blankets to make your stay super cozy . Pillows are provided. To get the most out of your stay - check in can be early depending on the day and checkout can be later to give you extra time. 2 night minimum on the weekends.
Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.
If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!
Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your confirmation email. Your Tentrr Host is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable).
