This lovely, detached villa with private pool can be found in the heart of the Mar Menor Golf Resort. The villa has everything you could need for a perfect, relaxing holiday. There is air conditioning in all rooms for the warm summer months, and there is also gas central heating for winter.
From the welcoming entrance hall, double sliding doors lead through to the large, light and spacious lounge/diner, which has a modern TV, with a wide choice of UK TV channels, and free WIFI. The lounge has lots of comfortable seating and has direct access to the pool and terrace area, through large patio doors. There is also a styling dining table and 6 chairs, to enjoy family meals together. The kitchen is also accessed from the entrance hall and has been extended and modernised. It is extremely well equipped with all the expected facilities, and even has a wine cooler. To complete the ground floor accommodation, there is a newly-fitted and very handy cloakroom, with WC and washbasin.
Upstairs, you will find the spacious, extended master bedroom. This has a king sized bed, ample fitted wardrobes and is very bright due to having double aspect windows and patio doors. There is an en suite bathroom, luxuriously tiled in marble, with washbasin, bath with shower over and toilet. The second and third bedrooms are also good sized rooms, one with a king sized bed and the other is a twin room. Both have ample built-in wardrobes. Accessed from the landing, there is a luxurious and modernised family shower room with a walk-in shower, wash washbasis, and WC.
Outside, there is a large, private pool and a large patio area, with different seating areas and a pergola for respite from the Summer sun. Here you will also find a large BBQ. It is equipped with sofas and chairs, and sun loungers, and is a fabulous place to spend both daytimes and evenings.
Please note, to protect the environment and the over-use of the air con, there is a meter system installed in this property. Sufficient credit is provided, and included within the rental price, to cover normal usage during the period of your stay. We also provide you with guidance on how to use the air con properly and efficiently. Additional credit for the meter is available for purchase, however this should not be necessary should the air con be used per our guidance.
On the resort is a 5* hotel, where you can have something to eat or drink whilst overlooking the fabulous pool area and golf course beyond. In the resort's Town Centre, there is a further restaurant and the community pool (opening times and entry conditions vary). Then just outside one of the resort's entrances is "El Boulevard", a commercial area where you will find a further choice of bars and restaurants. There is also a well-stocked Spar supermarket inside the resort.
As well as the on-site Jack Nicklaus-designed, 18-hole golf course, there are padel courts, a tennis court, outdoor table tennis tables, and a petanca court. There is an outdoor "trim trail", with exercise equipment dotted along a meandering path, in addition to a well-equipped gym. For the children, there is a play park which has slides, climbing frames, see-saws and swings, an animal-themed crazy golf course, and throughout the resort there are plenty of open, green areas, ideal for children to have a run around.
The resort is a short drive from the beaches of the Mar Menor and those of the Mediterranean, a little further up the coast. Nearby are the beautiful cities of Cartagena and Murcia, both well worth a visit. You will also find several large shopping centres within easy reach, for a little retail thereapy.
**NB The damage deposit is to be paid by bank transfer or debit card, along with the final payment, 8 weeks prior to arrival. There is no facility to pay this in cash at the property**
