Celebrate holidays here in the Chef kitchen with high end appliances, dishware, silverware for 26+ to sit and eat. My mother, aunts, and grandmother passed down treasures I share for your gentle use. Love China, crystal, and silver? You're at the right place. Enjoy causal and eco-plastic reusables? We have those too! We love celebrations and parties! There are many colors of charger plates, place mats, centerpieces, and what you need to set a true Southern Living style celebration meal. The formal dining room is open to the farmhouse kitchen dining table with views of the lake, palms, and gardens. The kitchen has electric double ovens, a warming oven, a 5 burner gas range in the island, a dedicated coffee and tea bar beside a favorite upholstered swivel chair where friends can gather for cooking. Of course, you'll find a Kitchen Aide mixer, a Vitamix, premium bakeware, knife set, and all you'll need to cook or serve meals from casual to formal. There's two bar stools at the end of a kitchen counter for little hands who want to help cook. At the opposite end of the kitchen farmhouse table you'll find a large area for adult beverages, two wine refrigerators, and cut glassware. There's an antique crystal punch bowl along with two of the old fashioned Tupperware frozen punch ring molds for floating those beautiful combinations of organic edible flowers and berries. We decorate seasonally and welcome your additions.
Want to dine outdoors? Let the guys cook the meat? How about a cookoff with two grills, one upstairs and another downstairs along with the Big Green Egg and outdoor kitchen. We've got outdoor seating covered too with upstairs and downstairs tables for six, and oh so many little places and large places to find furniture arranged for relaxing and entertaining! Our outdoor kitchen is waiting for your favorite meal! Need to hire extra cleaning, a driver, chef, party decorator, someone to catch up on laundry? I’ve got my favs list I’ll share. For groups over 16, I ask for daily towel washing by guests staying over 2 nights to keep our premium towels fresh. Laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent is provided for this washing.

We have these amenities for guests: Smokeless Propane Fire pit with glowing rocks beside the pool, 3 Kayaks, 2 Paddle Boards, Use of Life Jackets in a Variety of Sizes, Kid friendly pool toys, 2 pack & plays, 2 high chairs, 2 baby gates, indoor toys, books, and puzzles. We are NOT a childproofed house and parents must have all children under their direct supervision at all times. Extra care must be taken with all children outside due to the pool and lake. Each exterior door has a child alert system for guests use as you choose.
Our outdoor hot water shower is a perfect for transition from lake to pool, bathing lots of young kids, your dog and even for a tranquil shower alone. We have a privacy option for this shower for you if desired or for cooler weather. There’s plenty of hooks for dry clothing and your cosmetic bag. This shower plus the pool 1/2 bath only 15 steps away equals a full outdoor bath. It’s the perfect solution for wet people who otherwise would need to go inside during their water fun and sport activity.
Small weddings would be gorgeous under our gazebo over the water or on the upper covered balcony. Our palm trees are tall enough to sway as natural arrangements in your skyline photos. The Swinging Porch Bed on the Upper Deck is a Guest Favorite! The hammock at Lakeside is a close second. Our game room has a Granite Pool Table, Fosse Ball, Craft Room, Business Center, Desk, & Chair. USB and outlets at all bedsides & on living room end tables help guests keep phones near them while charging their phone, watch, and tablets. Two fireplaces, 20 Beds, a large Covered Patio, 2 Huge Decks/Balconies, an additional front porch, and Private Master Balcony, a Separate Gym, 4 Soaking Chairs inside the pool, Toys for Lake and Pool, Games, Books, 2 Pack & Plays, and a Highchair set the stage for amazing memories here where you have whatever you may need. You'll have free use of 3 sets of washers & dryers with freshly laundered beach towels & linens included when you arrive. The craft room is a crafter's dream focused on card making and scrapbooking. It's for adults only or adult supervision of older children and teens. There's free use of craft tools. Don’t take my craft tools home with you, but you’re welcome to use my craft tools here to create the special card(s) to send to others. Use of supplies is on the honor system with a donation jar to replace supplies like papers, embellishments, and glue. Follow instructions in how-to-guides to make popular paper crafts. Ask me about how to use the tools in this room. A local paper craft teacher is thrilled to teach your group a class in card making where everyone takes home gift cards to bring joy to others. A copy is under house rules on this listing and will be emailed to you after you book, 2) Send me a copy of the front and back of your government issued photo ID, and 3) Send me a selfie of you the booking guest holding your government issued ID. I keep this information private and destroy it 7 days after your check-out as long as there is no unpaid damage.
