This large, modern, sunny home is a peaceful haven within a gated community adjoining the Mangawhai estuary waterfront and the Department of Conservation (DOC) sandspit. All of these amazing areas are accessible on foot via the private road and a variety of walking tracks. Once you are settled in you can walk to the estuary, the ocean and the incredible sandhill on the DOC sandspit.
The architecturally designed home, surrounded by Olive trees, has excellent indoor and outdoor areas for entertainment and relaxation. The multiple outdoor entertaining areas are well equipped with outdoor furniture, umbrellas, a hot tub, pizza oven and fire pit (when fire regulations permit). There is a separate lounge for audiovisual pursuits with a large screen TV with Chromecast, giving access to NEON and TVNZ+(BYO App logins). For extra entertainment the garage has table tennis, pool, and foosball tables, so there is plenty to do in the evenings or when the weather is less favourable. In the winter there is a fireplace and underfloor heating in the downstairs living areas to keep things cosy.
The Tern Point community comprises approximately 320 acres with considerable shared areas, such as 2km of waterfront, bush and farm walking tracks, boat ramp and childrens play ground.
Notes:
1. This home is in a gated community with shared common areas such as the waterfront, walking tracks and boat ramp. Renters need to familiarise themselves with the community regulations regarding use of common areas and facilities; this information will be available to guests in a house manual.
2. The lookout tower is not available for guests for Health Safety reasons.
3. The mezzanine area where the 2 King single beds are has no door and is open to the stairs.
4. Please note the boat ramp in the subdivision is shallow launching and best for kayaks and small craft, guests would be advised to use town ramps for larger vessels.
