Built in 1889, the William Rawls house is on the St. Pete Historic register as the only remaining "I house" in the city and is one of the oldest homes in town.
This apartment (constructed 1926) is located on the second floor above a private garage.
- Recently Renovated with Central air, no window units here.
- There are three full bedrooms, each with a Queen.
- Two bathrooms, one with a glass shower, the other with a free-standing tub.
- There is a cozy living and dining room combo.
- A sizable galley kitchen stocked with most home essentials and stainless steel appliances.
- A separate office space with reading chairs.
- Finally, a full washer and dryer are located inside the kitchen

************ The Property ************
There are two units on the property, the Rawls House and the apartment above the garage. The entire backyard is available to all guests at all times. This space includes a well-maintained brand new hot tub and pool that are shared with the other unit on the property.
************ Smoking ************
ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING of any kind (including vaping) is allowed inside any unit at any time
Smoking is allowed in the outside common areas with two exceptions. Please properly discard any and all tobacco products outside before re-entering any unit. Please be cognizant of other guests staying on the property and their disposition to smoke. Failure to follow this rule will result in a $250 cleaning fee. We do this out of respect for future guests in an attempt to provide the absolute cleanest accommodations for all to enjoy.

Pet Dander Cleaning Fee of $200 per Stay
At our establishment, we warmly welcome well-behaved pets on a case-by-case basis! To accommodate our furry guests, there will be an additional pet dander cleaning fee of $200 per stay. We value cleanliness and hygiene, and we kindly ask our guests to pick up after their animals during their visit.
We take pride in maintaining the highest standards for our accommodations, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all our guests. To achieve this, any potential damage to furniture, landscaping, or the property, in general, will be carefully assessed after a guest's stay. In the rare event of significant damage, we may need to file a claim to address the issue appropriately.

As responsible pet owners, we kindly request that dogs staying with us are not only well-behaved but also refrain from excessive barking or any aggressive behavior. We believe that a peaceful environment is essential for a relaxing vacation, not only for you but also for our other guests.
To maintain a harmonious atmosphere, we encourage guests to be mindful of their dogs' behavior and considerate of others staying nearby. While occasional barking is normal, we kindly ask pet owners to gently address any prolonged or disruptive barking to ensure the comfort and peace of all our guests.

To uphold this standard, we kindly ask that dogs with any history of aggressive behavior towards other animals or humans are not brought to our Vrbo. Service Animals are welcome at no additional cost. To accommodate guests with service animals, we kindly request that the host is informed prior to the reservation for the safety of others. As animal dander allergies are common and considered a disability under the ADA, we take extra precautions to sanitize each unit thoroughly after an animal has entered to protect future guests.
Please include the following two questions in your booking request:
1 - Is the service animal required for a disability?
2 - What work or task is the service animal trained to perform?
A guest’s service animal must be:
- Under the control of the owner at all times
- Housebroken
- Accompanied by the owner at all times and never left unattended in the unit
- Harnessed, leashed, or tethered in shared spaces on the property
Emotional Support Animals (ESA):
For booking purposes, Florida doesn't consider emotional support animals to be service animals. Therefore, an ESA should be considered a Pet for booking purposes.

************ Surveillance ************
No illegal activity is permitted at any time. If it's against the law, we don't allow it.
The entire outside area and both garage stalls are under 24-hour surveillance. Please note that video evidence may be used in a court of law.
Absolutely no private interior rooms are surveilled at any time.
************ Maintenance ************
Please do not block the area in front of the red garage doors marked with no parking signs. This area is reserved for maintenance crews to access the property.
Friday is a maintenance day. Both the Landscape and pool are serviced on Fridays. On occasion because of weather and sometimes scheduling they come a day early or late. Please exit the pool and tub during their scheduled visit and re-enter upon their departure

************ General Rules ************
- Clean any dishes you use and put them back or place them in the dishwasher and start the load before leaving
- Please don't track mud into the living spaces
- Leave the thermostat at 75 upon checkout
- Please remove any trash upon departure, recycling goes in the blue bins, and trash in the black bins, both located in the alley
- The pool and Hot tub may be used by guests at any time, however, please no children under the age of 13 without adult supervision.
- There is a robot pool skimmer working to keep the surface of the pool clean for guests at all times. Please remove it prior to swimming and return it to the pool when you are done swimming. Please do not play with the skimmer, it is not a toy.
- The Pool can be heated for an additional cost of $100 per week. Please contact us directly if interested.
- Most importantly, relax and enjoy your stay :)
