The closest walk (which does not require a car) is at your door step – Mapleton Falls National Park. The park covers an area of approximately 52 hectares and is home to a stunning waterfall, rainforest, and a variety of flora and fauna. The park also features several short walking tracks, ranging from easy strolls to more challenging hikes. The Picnic Creek Circuit is a popular 1.3km walk that takes visitors through lush rainforest and past a small waterfall, while the Wompoo Circuit is a 1.8km walk that offers stunning views of the waterfall and surrounding countryside. In addition to the walking tracks, the park also offers picnic areas with barbecues, toilets, drinking water & free paking, making it a great place to spend a day exploring and enjoying the outdoors.
