Welcome to our renovated and professionally decorated A-frame, perfect for family gatherings or romantic getaways! Enjoy exciting a clean space with comfy beds and furniture, huge dining area, amenities like ping pong, arcade games, and a fun "barn" for activities! Stunning views from our hot tub and decks creating lasting memories in this ideal retreat. Everything from the furniture to the linens were carefully chosen to ensure a 5-Star Stay and maximize comfort, aesthetic, and functionality!
The Space:
Primary Bedroom has a king bed and tv, it is on the lower floor with an ensuite bath with a walk in shower and patio where the hot tub is located. Also on the lower floor is a game room with 2 bunk beds, arcade games and a TV. The ground floor has a media room with bean bag chairs, the living room, dining room and kitchen as well as a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms each with queen beds and private balconies as well as a full bath with walk in shower.
Guest Access:
There is a keypad on the front door as well as a back up lockbox. The guests will have access to the entire property with the exception of the Owners closet.
The Neighborhood:
Just a short drive away, you'll find the charming Elk Meadow Park, where early mornings and twilight hours often reveal elk grazing peacefully. Explore the park's scenic trails or take on the moderately challenging hike up Bergen Peak for stunning views.
Nearby Evergreen Lake offers a wide range of activities year-round. In winter, enjoy ice skating, ice fishing, and cross-country skiing. If you're visiting around New Year's, don’t miss the festive marshmallow roasting, mesmerizing ice sculptures, and the spectacular fireworks display at midnight. Summer brings opportunities for fishing, sailing, stand-up paddleboarding, and canoeing. You can rent boats, kayaks, or paddleboards at the lake or at Big R. Plus, there’s a free music festival on Wednesday nights.
Throughout the year, Evergreen hosts a variety of events including the Bluegrass Festival, Jazz Festival, Music at Myers Ranch Concerts, and the Rodeo & Parade on Father’s Day weekend. Additionally, there are three fantastic craft breweries in town: Evergreen Brewery, Lariat Lodge, and El Rancho!
Mount Evans, visible from the house, is a short drive away. Whether you choose to hike one of Colorado’s famous 14ers, drive up North America's highest paved road, or enjoy the alpine scenery, it’s a must-visit.
Just 20 minutes down "the canyon road," Red Rocks Amphitheater awaits. Not only is it renowned for its exceptional concerts, but it's also a stunning location for hiking.
Getting Around:
Please park on asphalt. Absolutely NO cars parked in the barn. Please note, from November through April, a 4-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicle is required for safe travel in Colorado. Make sure your vehicle is equipped accordingly before heading to Evergreen.
Other Things to Note:
***We have recently had a big problem with people smoking on the property, noise, guest count exceeding what's on the reservation, and unauthorized pets. We have since hired a company to install devices to check for these things and there will be a minimum $500 fine if any of these rules are broken.
Interaction with Guests:
We partner with a couple people that help out when we're not in town. If we are in town, we'd love to meet you!
