If you are looking to getaway from hustle and bustle of the City and relax at a serene setting “The Farmhouse” is just for you. As a bonus, if you still have to bring your work with you and do business remotely we have a ‘studio’ that offers privacy for quiet virtual meetings or calls, but also amazing views of the backyard. Or you can simply use the ‘Studio’ for meditation and Yoga practice.
As the leaves turn golden and the air becomes crisp, our home is the perfect spot to experience the magic of autumn. Enjoy scenic hikes through colorful forests, apple picking at local orchards, and sipping warm cider by the fire. Nearby pumpkin patches and charming harvest festivals offer fun for all ages. End your day with a relaxing time by our fire pit, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature. Come and make unforgettable fall memories with us!
Our 2 acre private backyard includes a heated pool, grill under a beautiful gazebo, fire pit and fencing which surrounds the property, and a range of games to entertain all ages.
The main house features three bedrooms (main suite, kids room and guest room) and three full bathrooms with AC. The master suite is on the first floor and the 2 other rooms are on the second floor. It's an ideal fit for a large family with kids or guests, or anyone who wants to enjoy the serene feel of upstate NY.
The large living room area is composed of large windows which offer an amazing view of the backyard, with the kitchen an integral part of it. A deck with seating area is just outside the family room.
The main suite is on the main floor and includes a King size bed, large windows, closet space and a full bathroom.
The Kids Room is on the second floor and includes 2 twin beds, a desk, closet space.
The Guest Room is on the second floor and includes a full size bed, closet space and ample light coming through the large windows.
The two upstairs bedrooms share a full bathroom. Although the house is on Central Air, only the two upstairs bedrooms have window units.
The Farmhouse also includes a bonus workspace studio with Central Air, with ample light coming through the large windows and a small patio looking out to the pool area. This space can be used as an additional office or an exercise room.
The Kitchen comes full equipped with a Smeg Coffee Bar, blender, toaster and electric Tea pot. The Stove is a Smeg as well. There are children’s utensils available with a high chair.
Outdoor area includes a patio with seating area and a Fire Pit. The backyard has a beautiful large heated pool set at 80 degrees with a covered area ( Gazebo) and a grill, to sit and relax and enjoy the quiet and beauty of the yard.
The Village of Montgomery is only 5 minutes from the house with lots of dining available. City Winery, Wards Bridge Inn, WildFire, The Table and Java blue are just a few to name. Angry Orchards Farm where you can enjoy fresh brewed beer is only 10 minutes away.
Shawangunk mountains, Mohonk Mountain House Preserve, and Lake Minnewaska Loop Trail are within 30 minutes for those who want to venture out to hike, go kayaking, canoeing or simply enjoy the great outdoors.
Woodbury Commons outlet stores are a short 30 minutes away for guests who want to fit in some discount shopping at designer stores.
