Chalet Snøstorm is a brand new luxury chalet and a result of deep affection for the Cervinia-Valtournenche-Zermatt area and what the surroundings have to offer. This Chalet has the most stunning views from a fantastic location only a 300m stroll away from the slopes in Valtournenche.
The location “up on the hill” allow for amazing views of the Valtournenche valley and beyond the Aosta Valley, as well as spectacular views of the alpine mountain range towards the Matterhorn. Located at 1750 m.a.s.l. close to the bottom of this gigantic ski area, the Chalet garden will regularly offer sunny and sheltered outdoor conditions while it might be very chilly further up.
In addition to the ski piste there are several walking and biking trails leading to the top in the immediate vicinity of the chalet.
The bustling little village of Valtournenche can be reached by car in five minutes. For the fit, there is a narrow pathway criss-crossing between the charming chalets and old houses that will take you to the village centre and the church square straight below in the hillside in only15 mins. In the village you will find everything from all purpose boutiques, an abundant butcher and the most charming pasticceria to go for fresh bread and croissants in the morning.
After a day enjoying the outdoors, Chalet Snøstorm will offer you the perfect place to relax and unwind. Fully refurbished in 2023 with a light and airy atmosphere and exclusive natural materials and contemporary furniture in Nordic style. This family chalet has been designed with utmost care and
consideration with the best materials, perfectly balancing an inviting and cosy atmosphere allowing you to relax after a day outdoors. Walls are decorated with original Italian poster works and photographic art that show a love for nature.
Entering the Chalet from Street level, you access the top floor; first a spacious wardrobe before you enter in the main open kitchen and dining area. The spacious design kitchen has modern appliances and is integrated with the dining area where the large custom-built oak dining table comfortably seats 12 persons with great views and a modern woodburning fireplace. From the dining area a custom designed glass stair-case will take you down to the main living room area on the first floor. In the living room there is a large sofa area, a divan and chairs from which you can lean back, relax and read a book, or simply enjoy the views and the lights from the valley through the panoramic floor to ceiling windows. This floor also have two large master bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and desk area.
The lower/ground floor has two bedrooms, one en-suite double-bed room, and one with double bunk bed. There is also a relaxation area with a large TV and a kitchenette. A popular place to hang out for kids or teenagers wanting to escape their parents for some hours. There is also a spa area with a turkish bath and separate exit to gardens. Additionally, an outdoor hot tub and sauna is planned to be installed before the winter season 24/25.
This chalet boasts a large ski room, accessible via the upper floor, and with a separate entrance next to the main entrance where you would typically come back after a day skiing. There is private outdoor parking for up to three cars.
Surrounding the chalet there are spacious balconies both on the upper floor where you can enjoy the coffee in the morning sun, and on the middle floor where you can take the sunbeds out and indulge in the view and enjoy the afternoon sun. When the snow melts in the almost 2000m2 garden there is plenty of space for enjoying lunch or dinner outdoors by the spacious stone table and fire up the large purpose-built rock masoned wood-fired grill.
